I'm available for Computer Consultation.
I try to keep my clientele limited to a few businesses and individuals I realise I can't be everything for everyone, but as long as I have a time slot open I will try to assist you. I enjoy working with computers and people, and it is both my business and my hobby. With over 40 years working on and with Computers I have a lot of experience. I can also communicate in non-computer speak and explain what is going on without trying to geek speak. So I'll keep fixing computers and helping others to keep their systems up and running for as long as it keeps me amused. I also usually have a few computers available for sale, or I can get the kind of systems you want pretty quickly. I set-up a lot of high-end workstations for people who do Engineering Work, Gaming or Video Editing. I can guide you on what programs to use for video editing that are reasonably priced. I can explain how to change resolution on video clips or compress them down for easier transfer or change the frame rate and I have experience with lots of programs that can perform the tasks depending on what you want to do with video or audio files. I also know a lot about streaming video to your home TV's.

Trend Antivirus is one of the best for Businesses across the entire network with very good support and still good for the individual home users as well. Bit Defender another AntiVirus that's been around for a long time and has rated highly in most tests and reports. Iolo System Mechanic one of my favourites except for they're trying to sell you their online support. I don't think that it's worth the money they are charging, but maybe you'll feel it's worth it for 24 hr tech support I get it without their support for a lower price. Iolo does have some great utilities with it that make it more than just your typical AntiVirus. Maleware bytes still one of the oldest and best for Spyware and Trojan removal from your system offering a free and paid for version. They also own CCleaner a great little utility either the paid for or free version.
BACKUP SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS ONLY WAY TO FIGHT RANSOMWARE
Making a full backup of your system drive is the best way to ensure that your system will be up regardless of what the web throws at you. There are all kinds of backup programs available today to make a backup of your system. Ransomware is one of the worst things than can infect your machine. If you get infected it encrypts pretty much every critical file on your computer. Once your machine is infected it goes through your file system encrypts the headers of every document, every picture, every spreadsheet, all your emails and pretty much every program file it can find. Afterwards it leaves you with a graphic on your screen giving you instructions on how to contact the ransomware purveyors anonymously, so you can't track them, the code to your machines infected encryption, so they can if after you've blindly paid them in Bitcoin send you the decryption program and code if they want to. I've seen where a ransom of $25,000 was paid in Bitcoin to get the decryption key and in that instance, they had insurance for it, and the key was provided. The insurance company negotiated with the ransomware purveyors. It's not a situation you want to be in! ...
